Bill Sienkiewicz: An Appreciation

Bill Sienkiewicz is an American graphic storyteller who enjoyed tremendous success working for Marvel Comics in the 80s and 90s.  He's still active today.  In my opinion, he has not received his due for the quality of his work.

I still remember his work on Moon Knight as just stunning:

When he joined the creative team of The New Mutants he instantly made that comic outstanding for his @12-issue run.

I've heard some people say that Bill Sienkiewicz is a polarizing artist, and that they just hated his work.  I've never understood that point of view.  If you agree with me that the pieces I've shown here are outstanding, then do yourself a favor and take the time to really explore his artistic portfolio.  Check out his runs on a variety of comics, as detailed at Wikipedia.
