Before he played Dr. McDreamy on Grey's Anatomy, Patrick Dempsey starred in the 1987 high school romantic comedy Can't Buy Me Love.

Can't Buy Me Love aspired to be more than high school antics; it explored deeper themes of peer pressure and the great lengths to which people will go to achieve social status.  It was a sleeper hit for that summer and featured a very young Seth Green as Dempsey's kid brother.
